Bestway wants to show you two of its main commitments today: sustainable development and well-being at work.
Sustainable development
At Bestway, we take our environmental responsibilities very seriously by looking for alternative sources of energy and by minimizing our production waste. Several actions have been implemented to preserve the environment:
Bestway recycling program: we have initiated a post-purchase recycling program with several distributors. We have thus recycled 180 tonnes of products collected all over the world.
Waste management: our objective is to increase the recycling or reuse rate by 3% per year, measured in tonnes of waste diverted from waste reception centers or incinerators (12% increase by the end of the year).
Renewable energy consumption: currently 4.9% of our energy consumption comes from solar energy. Our goal is to reach 10% solar energy in the coming months.
Reduction of energy consumption: our objective is to reduce energy consumption by 10% per year, to reach a total of -40% by the end of the year. Bestway actively participates in the Carbon Disclosure Project which measures the energy consumption and energy performance of the 4 factories in China.
Well-being at work
People are at the heart of our organization and that is why our community is our most precious asset: customers, colleagues, head office, subsidiaries and suppliers are our point of reference.

Bestway also provides its employees with a few suggestions to improve the quality of life at work, such as: taking a lunch break outside to disconnect from the work routine and take full advantage of its break. We also encourage people who want to quit smoking and leave our employees free to work as they wish. If someone needs to isolate themselves for a task requiring more concentration, rooms are provided for this purpose.
We also insist on organizing in the workplace to ensure better efficiency and above all to avoid unnecessary stress overload.
Finally, Bestway is open and transparent towards its employees in order to install a climate of trust where everyone is free to say what they think in order to improve the working atmosphere with their colleagues.
